Senior Payroll Officer – Eastern Suburbs (Perth)
$110,000 - $125,000 + Super
Monday - Friday
Office based - 38 hours (flexible start and finish times)
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on time across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles
- Support end-to-end payroll operations, including new starters, terminations, and adjustments
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and system data
- Provide payroll administration support, including timesheet processing, data entry, and document management
- Respond to payroll-related queries and liaise with internal stakeholders
- Interpret awards, EBAs, and relevant payroll legislation
- Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Support payroll audits, system enhancements, and process improvements
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a payroll-focused position
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation
- Experience with payroll systems such as Chris21, SAP Success Factors, Workday, Oracle, or similar
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Full Australian working rights and be based in Perth
