• Salary: Up to $140,000 + Super

About the Client

Our client is an iconic, well-known Australian retail brand undergoing a major digital transformation across its national footprint. To lead the charge on a critical in-store technology upgrade, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a fixed-term engagement running through to June 2028 to drive the national rollout of their new Point of Sale (POS) solution.

The Opportunity

In this dynamic, high-visibility contract role, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of the new POS system across retail store networks nationwide. Working closely with store teams, IT stakeholders, and vendor partners, you will ensure seamless integration with the core NetSuite ERP while managing hands-on deployment in the field across the multi-year project lifecycle.

• Key Tech Stack: Salesforce (POS) & NetSuite (ERP)

Key Responsibilities

• Rollout Execution: Own and manage the multi-year deployment schedule for POS hardware and software across national store locations through mid-2028.

• On-Site Implementation: Travel to store sites (~70% national travel) to oversee go-lives, user adoption, vendor activities, and hypercare support.

• System Integration: Work alongside technical teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration between Salesforce POS and NetSuite ERP.

• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with regional store managers, retail operations teams, and external technology vendors.

• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks, store disruption bottlenecks, and contingency plans to keep deployments on time and within budget.

• Change & Training Facilitation: Partner with retail ops to ensure store personnel are well-trained and confident operating the new POS systems.

What You Bring

• Proven PM Experience: Demonstrated track record delivering store-level retail technology, POS implementations, or field rollouts.

• Tech Experience: Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Salesforce (POS) and NetSuite (ERP) environments is highly regarded.

• Mobility & Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% nationally during active rollout phases.

• Retail Acumen: A deep understanding of retail store operations, trading hours, and the practical challenges of in-store tech deployments.

• Contract Commitment: Availability and commitment to lead the rollout across a fixed-term tenure through June 2028.
