Are you a Payroll Professional  with strong payroll knowledge and a passion for systems and process improvement?

We’re currently partnering with a well known  organisation to find a Payroll Systems Officer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a major payroll transformation project, supporting the Payroll Manager who will be seconded into a project team responsible for transitioning the organisation from its current BAU payroll system to Dayforce.

The Role

You’ll work closely with the Payroll Manager and broader payroll team to ensure the day-to-day payroll function continues to run smoothly while the business undertakes this significant systems implementation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Payroll Manager and payroll team during the Dayforce implementation.

• Assisting with payroll systems and process-related activities.

• Supporting system testing, data validation and troubleshooting.

• Identifying and resolving payroll system issues.

• Assisting with payroll processes, reconciliations and reporting.

• Working closely with internal stakeholders throughout the transition.

• Helping ensure a smooth transition from the existing payroll system to Dayforce.

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines strong payroll knowledge with solid systems experience.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience working in a payroll systems or payroll-focused role.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes.

• Experience with payroll systems and system implementations or upgrades.

• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

• The confidence to work with stakeholders and support a busy payroll environment.

• Dayforce experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
