Payroll Supervisor - G lobal Mining Services
Perth Airport | $130,000–$140,000 + bonus | Hybrid working
Ready to take ownership of a payroll function and help shape what it becomes?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established global business supporting the mining and resources sector. This is a hands on Payroll Supervisor role offering the chance to lead a team, strengthen payroll processes and play a significant role in systems upgrades, integration and change.
The payroll function is approximately 60% of the way there, with a solid foundation already in place. The remaining 40% presents an exciting challenge for someone who enjoys problem-solving, driving improvements and turning opportunities into lasting change.
You'll oversee payroll across five Australian entities, managing weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay cycles while supporting three onshore Payroll Officers and providing technical guidance to two offshore team members.
With multiple payroll systems currently in use, you'll be heavily involved in system upgrades, changes and the longer-term consolidation of platforms, with a view to moving towards ADP Payforce. This is an opportunity to go beyond business-as-usual payroll and have a genuine influence on the future of the function, with scope for the role to develop into broader Australian payroll leadership.
