Temporary Payroll Officer
East Perth | $56 per hour | Immediate Start | 2-Month Contract
We are seeking a confident and capable payroll professional to join a well-established organisation based in East Perth on a temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied payroll role and provide essential cover for approximately two months.
The Role
Working as part of the payroll function, your key responsibilities will include:
- New employee onboarding
- Monthly payroll processing for approximately 130+ permanent employees
- Processing payroll for approximately 50 players
- Fortnightly casual payroll for approximately 50 employees, increasing to around 80 during the cricket season
- Fortnightly contractor payroll
- Payroll journals (desirable but not essential)
- General payroll administration and support
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous end-to-end payroll experience
- Access MicrOpay experience is highly desirable
- The ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Immediate or short-notice availability
