We are working exclusively to recruit a Payroll Manager
to take ownership of an end to end payroll function and lead exciting system and process improvements.
As the Payroll Manager, you will:
- Manage the full payroll cycle for 800+ employees.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of wages, benefits, and deductions.
- Maintain compliance with legislation, awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
- Lead payroll audits and improve governance.
- Deliver monthly payroll reporting and insights to the Executive Team.
- Drive system improvements, automation, and workflow efficiencies.
- Oversee payroll reconciliations and work closely with Finance and HR.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Payroll Lead.
- Provide guidance to managers across the organisation on payroll processes.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves improving processes.

- Strong experience managing payroll in a medium organisation.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Proven leadership capability and a passion for developing people.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and communication style.
- Strong problem-solving ability and sound judgement.
- Ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
