Payroll Officer -  12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Northern Suburbs| Flexible 4 or 5 Day Working Week | Hybrid Working

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end payroll processing 
  • Ensure payroll is delivered accurately, compliantly, and on time
  • Manage payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
  • Maintain compliance with local legislation, statutory obligations, and reporting requirements
  • Liaise with external payroll providers and monitor service delivery standards
  • Support payroll reconciliations, reporting, and month-end processes
  • Partner with HR regarding employee changes, terminations, and benefits administration
  • Prepare payroll reports and support internal audit requirements
  • Identify opportunities for payroll process and system improvements

About You

  • 2+ years’ payroll experience, ideally within a multi-country or complex environment
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, compliance, and payroll processes
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational and analytical skills
  • Experience using SuccessFactors (SAP) or similar payroll systems
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative and proactive approach
  • Full Australian working rights
