About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
IT Infrastructure Project Manager
for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in the Melbourne
CBD . In this role, you will lead end-to-end delivery of key infrastructure initiatives across both Waterfall and Agile environments, managing projects across Fixed Price and Time & Material (
T &
M ) delivery models in a flexible hybrid arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor IT infrastructure projects from inception through to completion.
- Manage project delivery models including Fixed Price and Time & Material contracts.
- Drive project schedules, scope, risk, and resource management using hybrid (Waterfall & Agile) frameworks.
- Engage with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Maintain program and portfolio tracking using PPPM platforms and project management tools.
Skills & Experience
- Technical Experience: Strong background delivering complex IT Infrastructure projects.
- Security Clearance: Must hold an active AGSVA Baseline Clearance, or be an Australian Citizen eligible and willing to obtain and maintain one.
- Methodologies: Proven track record applying both Waterfall and Agile delivery frameworks.
- Software Tools: High proficiency with Microsoft Project and Office 365. Experience with PPPM platforms ( Dynamics 365 preferred) is highly advantageous.
- Commercial Expertise: Hands-on experience delivering both Fixed Price and Time & Material projects.
- Workplace Preference: Ability to work on-site in Melbourne CBD 3 days per week.
