Head of Product

Perth-based | Full-time | Senior Leadership Role

We’re partnering with a fast-growing AI software company looking for a commercially minded and technically credible Head of Product to lead product strategy, roadmap and execution across a suite of AI-driven enterprise platforms.

This is a rare opportunity to join a business delivering real-world AI solutions at global scale across complex operational environments. The organisation is already well-established internationally, with strong growth across APAC and expanding presence in North America and EMEA.

The business is looking for someone who genuinely understands AI products beyond the buzzwords - someone who can bridge the gap between technical capability, commercial outcomes and customer value.

As Head of Product, you’ll own the product vision, roadmap and execution across a growing portfolio of AI and SaaS products. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Sales, Customer Success and the executive leadership team to shape the future direction of the platform and broader product suite.

You’ll play a key role in translating customer needs, market opportunities and emerging AI capabilities into scalable, commercially successful products.

This role would suit someone who enjoys operating across both strategic and hands-on environments, with the ability to move between executive conversations, technical discussions and customer engagement.

Product Strategy & Leadership

• Own and drive the multi-quarter product roadmap
• Define product strategy aligned to commercial growth objectives
• Translate customer feedback, market trends and competitive insight into product direction
• Partner with executive stakeholders on pricing, packaging and go-to-market initiatives
• Lead and scale the product function, including mentoring and developing Product Managers

AI Product Ownership

• Shape how AI capabilities are evaluated, deployed and commercialised
• Work closely with engineering teams on product trade-offs relating to performance, scalability, latency and deployment models
• Stay current with developments across LLMs, agents, multimodal AI and evaluation tooling
• Help define frameworks around model performance, accuracy, drift and customer outcomes

Customer & Commercial Focus

• Engage directly with enterprise customers and end users to identify operational pain points and opportunities
• Translate technical capability into clear customer value propositions
• Own product storytelling including release communication, roadmap discussions and enablement material
• Support enterprise sales and strategic customer engagements

You’ll ideally bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in Product Management, including leadership experience within a senior Product role
• Proven experience delivering AI/ML-enabled products into production environments
• Strong technical understanding across AI/ML concepts and product evaluation frameworks
• Experience leading and growing high-performing product teams
• Strong commercial acumen within B2B SaaS or enterprise software environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• The ability to operate comfortably with both technical teams and executive leadership

• Experience within computer vision, video analytics or real-time AI systems
• Exposure to security, industrial, operational technology or critical infrastructure environments
• Experience scaling product teams in high-growth businesses
• Exposure to international markets and enterprise customer environments
• Previous experience within a publicly listed or high-growth technology business
