The Opportunity
Calling all heroes (immediately available accountants).... We’re working with a leading Western Australian not-for-profit aged care provider to recruit a FP&A/Management Accountant supporting their Residential Aged Care operations.
This is a broad, hands-on role combining financial planning, management reporting, and stakeholder partnering. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial insights, supporting operational decision-making, and ensuring strong financial control across the residential portfolio.
Core Technical Brief (no fluff):
- Monthly P&L reviews and variance analysis
- Annual budget and forecast ownership
- Reforecasting
- Quarterly and annual financial reporting input
- Journal posting and reconciliations
- Stakeholder query resolution and monthly results presentation.
Needed:
- Strong budgeting / forecasting / monthly reporting experience
- Proven stakeholder engagement with non-finance managers
- Comfort in a regulated, process-heavy environment
- Strong systems capability
- Ideally healthcare, aged care, NFP, government, or similarly compliance-heavy sectors.
An Ideal Candidate will Poses:
- 3–8+ years in management accounting / FP&A / commercial finance
- Monthly pack ownership
- Budget and forecast cycles
- Variance commentary
- Operational stakeholder partnering
- Exposure to healthcare, aged care, NFP, government, education, or services
- CA/CPA qualified or close to it.
