Our client is a well-established, values-driven organisation operating within the community and care sector, delivering essential services across Western Australia. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their high-performing finance team.
This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, treasury, audit, compliance and process improvement within a large and complex organisation.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, responsibilities include:
- Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Preparing journals, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements
- Supporting external audits and preparing audit documentation
- Assisting with BAS, FBT and regulatory reporting requirements
- Contributing to management and board reporting
- Supporting treasury, cash flow and banking activities
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and financial controls
- Acting as a key support across finance systems and process improvement initiatives
About You
- Degree qualified in Accounting
- CPA/CA qualified or working towards completion
- Previous experience in financial accounting, audit or business services
- Strong month-end reporting and reconciliation experience
- Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience using ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
