ESG Reporting Manager

They are looking for an experienced and commercially minded ESG Reporting Manager to lead the development and delivery of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting framework.

About the Role
Reporting to the Group Head of Risk & Governance within Group Finance, you'll be responsible for leading the Group's ESG reporting framework and ensuring accurate, transparent and compliant disclosure of sustainability information across international operations.
Working closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Risk and senior leadership, you'll help embed robust reporting processes that support strategic decision-making and strengthen stakeholder confidence.
What You'll Be Doing
As our ESG Reporting Manager, you will:
- Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Group's ESG reporting framework.
- Collect, validate and manage ESG data from a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop robust controls, processes and standard operating procedures to ensure high-quality ESG reporting.
- Prepare ESG reports, dashboards and disclosures for internal leadership, investors and external stakeholders.
- Manage mandatory sustainability reporting requirements, including climate disclosures, sustainability reporting standards (including ASRS and ESRS) and Modern Slavery reporting.
- Monitor emerging ESG regulations, reporting standards and industry best practice, ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Partner with teams across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and Operations to improve ESG data quality and reporting capability.
- Support ESG governance through Steering Committee reporting and Audit & Risk Committee reporting.
- Coordinate responses for ESG surveys, ratings and stakeholder requests.
- Contribute to broader sustainability initiatives and support financial reporting activities during peak reporting periods.
About You
They are looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting expertise with a genuine interest in sustainability, ideally with experience from a professional services firm.
You'll bring:
- CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Experience in financial reporting, external reporting or ESG/sustainability reporting.
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Experience interpreting reporting frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and influence across a complex global organisation.
- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
Highly Regarded
Experience with one or more of the following will be advantageous:
- ESG reporting frameworks including GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
- Mandatory climate or sustainability reporting requirements.
- ESG data management systems and reporting tools.
- Project management and cross-functional leadership.
