Domain Solution Architect – Mining, Oil & Gas (Data & AI)
Location: Perth, WA
We’re partnering with a leading global technology consultancy to appoint a Domain Solution Architect within their Data & AI practice, focused on Mining, Oil & Gas clients across Western Australia.
This is a senior, client-facing leadership role combining industry expertise, solution architect ure, presales, and commercial ownership. You’ll play a key role in shaping large-scale digital transformation, analytics, and AI initiatives across asset-intensive environments.
The Opportunity
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, leading solution design and driving growth across a portfolio of major Mining and Energy clients.
This role offers strong visibility across enterprise clients, involvement in complex transformation programs, and the ability to influence both strategy and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Industry Leadership
- Build and maintain relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders
- Provide strategic guidance on data, analytics, and AI initiatives
- Represent the business in executive engagements and industry discussions
Portfolio & Growth
- Own and grow a portfolio across Mining, Oil & Gas clients
- Identify and lead strategic opportunities, bids, and account expansions
- Drive pipeline, revenue, and contract value growth
Solution Architect ure & Presales
- Lead end-to-end solution design from discovery through to proposal
- Architect solution s across data platforms, analytics, AI/ML, cloud, and integration
- Ensure solution s are commercially viable, scalable, and aligned to operational environments
- Contribute to RFP/RFT responses and executive presentations
Delivery & Practice Leadership
- Ensure seamless transition from presales into delivery
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure quality and client outcomes
- Support capability uplift, mentoring, and development of reusable assets

About You
Experience
- 15+ years’ experience delivering enterprise data and digital solution s
- Strong background across Mining, Oil & Gas or other asset-intensive industries
- Proven experience advising senior stakeholders on data strategy and transformation
Technical ; Architect ure
- Expertise in modern data platforms (lakehouse, data fabric, cloud architect ures)
- Strong experience across Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks or similar ecosystems
- Knowledge of data governance, modelling (Kimball, Data Vault, etc.), and enterprise frameworks
Leadership & Commercial
- Strong presales and solution ing experience across large-scale bids
- Ability to balance technical design with commercial outcomes
- Experience leading teams, mentoring, and contributing to practice growth
