Reporting to the CFO, this newly created leadership role will establish and lead the FP&A and Commercial Finance function. You'll partner with operational leaders to deliver budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, commercial analysis and strategic insights that drive business performance.
Leading a small team, you'll also play a key role in the ERP implementation, enhancing reporting capability and supporting data-driven decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long-term financial planning.
- Develop financial models, scenario analysis and business cases.
- Deliver monthly management reporting, KPI dashboards and Board reporting.
- Partner with operational leaders on pricing, tenders, project profitability and commercial decisions.
- Drive reporting automation, Power BI dashboards and continuous improvement.
- Lead the finance workstream for the Pronto ERP implementation.
- Support strategic initiatives, acquisitions and business growth.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing commercial finance team.
About You
- CA or CPA qualified.
- 5+ years' experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent commercial acumen and stakeholder management capability.
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP and Power BI experience highly regarded.
- Experience within contracting, engineering, infrastructure, resources or project-based industries is advantageous.
