Hours: 38 hours per week
Flexibility: 1 day working from home following probation
- Manage daily trust account transactions and ensure compliance with relevant trust account regulations
- Perform regular bank and trust account reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances, and account issues in a timely manner
- Support operational teams with trust accounting queries and related processes
- Assist with accounts receivable duties, including invoicing, receipting, and debtor follow-up
- Prepare financial information and supporting documentation for reporting and audits
- Identify and contribute to process improvements across the finance function
- Maintain accurate client and financial records across internal systems
- Previous experience in trust accounting within property, legal, insurance, or another regulated industry
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits and credits
- Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
- Confident working independently and resolving financial discrepancies
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Solid working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems
