Our client, a progressive organisation, is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with proven Technology One expertise to join their team on a long-term fixed-term basis. This is a standout opportunity to shape how an organisation leverages its ERP investment — with particular focus on the Property and Ratings module and the broader delivery of fit-for-purpose corporate systems.
About the role
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will formulate, define and document solutions that enhance corporate systems using best-practice methodologies and pre-configured ERP solutions. You will play a pivotal role in the continuous improvement, support, and governance of the City's ERP environment — ensuring data integrity, system performance, and user capability are always at the forefront
- Review business requirements and deliver functional specifications including hierarchy, business rules, workflow, interface implications, data analysis and relationships.
- Oversee implementation, support and continuous improvement of the ERP, ensuring optimal performance, quality and data integrity across all modules.
- Undertake change management tasks for all systems, ensuring effective communication and smooth implementation across the user base.
- Identify opportunities where technology can assist or enhance services by actively reviewing current systems, business processes and workflows.
- Perform system testing for enhancements and upgrades, develop high-quality test scenarios and plans, and support users through User Acceptance Testing
- Deliver training to key users on new and improved functionality, coordinate user sessions, and maintain comprehensive system and user documentation.
Your skills
- Demonstrated experience with Technology One ERP , ideally with exposure to the Property and Ratings module
- Strong business analysis background with proven ability to translate complex requirements into clear functional specifications
- Experience in local government or a comparable public sector environment highly regarded
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, change management, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Solid experience developing test plans, conducting UAT, and maintaining technical and user documentation
