Our client, a true leader in their field is seeking an experienced Business / Solutions Analyst for a 12 month fixed term contract to build an application which will allow them to transition from paper-based processes to digital solutions.
The role
- Work directly with clients to map and document existing paper-based processes and pain points.
- Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders at all levels.
- Create user stories, process flow diagrams, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure requirements are understood and delivered correctly.
- Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities to optimise workflows through digitalisation.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and help validate that delivered solutions meet business needs.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a key voice of the customer within the internal product team
Your Skills
- Proven experience as a Business / Solutions Analyst, ideally in a software or technology environment.
- Strong understanding of business process mapping and requirements gathering.
- Experience working on digital transformation projects.
- Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- A natural curiosity and passion for solving real-world problems through technology.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and working with design teams.
- Experience with change management or training end users on new digital systems.
- Strong knowledge of Business Analysis frameworks (BABOK, Agile BA or similar)
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management and organisational skills
