An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Officer to join a values-driven organisation based in Perth CBD. Working closely with the Accounts Manager and senior leadership team, this hands-on role offers broad exposure across day-to-day finance operations within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Process invoices, payment runs, and supplier reconciliations.
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with payroll processing and related administration.
- Prepare reports and support month-end activities.
- Respond to internal and external finance queries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Utilise Xero and ApprovalMax to support efficient financial processes.
- Provide general support to the Accounts Manager and wider business.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Officer, Accounts Assistant, or similar finance role.
- Solid exposure to both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Experience using Xero (essential); ApprovalMax experience will be highly regarded.
- Payroll experience or exposure.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A Certificate IV, Diploma in Accounting, or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
